Between Excel and a big ERP
We build custom software for SMEs: you have outgrown Excel, but your processes are too specific for a standard ERP and your company is too small for an in-house IT department.
It is almost always about the floor: production and processing, quality registration, measuring and weighing, scanners and machines, and the hatches between systems that don’t understand each other on their own.
Recognise one of these four?
1. Your inventory, production or processing flow is bigger than your system can handle
Excel starts to crack. Formulas break with multiple users, versions drift apart and nobody is sure anymore which file is the source of truth. Your accountant no longer understands the inventory valuation in the report you provide, and on the shop floor nobody knows for certain what is physically on the shelf.
That means you have grown. We build a system on how your inventory, production or processing flow actually runs, so everyone works with the same numbers.
2. You have three tools that partially overlap
An ERP set up too big for what you actually use it for. A spreadsheet someone made five years ago that has since grown into a business-critical document. And that one Access database in accounting that nobody dares to touch anymore.
Nobody knows which system is the source of truth. Data gets moved by hand, errors are inevitable and nobody sees them until it is too late. We make your systems see the same data, without anyone retyping it.
3. You know your process, but it isn’t documented anywhere
Three people know exactly how it works. If one of them leaves or falls ill, production grinds to a halt, or runs in a way nobody approved. There is no documentation, no system that enforces the right way and no way to onboard new staff quickly.
We capture your process the way it works, in software that enforces the right way. New colleagues get up to speed faster.
4. The rules change faster than your software keeps up
EU legislation changes at a pace that a lot of software doesn’t track. GDPR additions, EUDR for those placing wood on the market, sector requirements around traceability, new reporting obligations. Standard software often follows a year later, the adjustment sits in the most expensive licence tier, or it doesn’t match how your company records the information.
Custom software grows with the rules that apply to you. We track the legislation in the domains we work in and adjust your software in a targeted way as soon as a change is on the horizon, within your maintenance agreement or on an hourly basis.
Looking for something else? We’ll point the way
Looking for a warehouse, transport or freight forwarding system? As a Boltrics Reseller we set up that standard for you: Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS. We build our custom software around it, never inside it.
Do you have your own IT department and formal governance requirements? Then bigger parties are better set up for you.
Do you only want reports or dashboards? For better insights from existing data, a data engineer or BI consultant is the better choice. We build systems that support your processes.
Can’t free up 4 to 8 hours per week during implementation? Then plan it for a later moment: without your input we build something that doesn’t fit.
Want a price without sharing your process? You get your exact price after the free demo, with scope and planning included.
Training and documentation included
Every implementation includes training sessions: operators learn to work with the software, managers learn to read the dashboard and the reports. That training is a standard part of delivery.
You get documentation in plain language, without jargon: how to use the software, how to resolve common questions and where to go if something breaks.
The first week after go-live is hypercare: we are with you on site for the questions that come up in daily use. After that, everything runs through the support channel, on working days between 07:30 and 18:00 Estonian time, with a direct line and no ticketing system.
