A thousand orders, out the door today

In e-fulfilment, webshop orders arrive all day, run to one or two lines and have to leave today. We set up Boltrics WMS so your picking, your returns and your invoice keep that pace, alongside your pallet work and in the same system.

Your pick strategy decides your margin

Batch, case and wave picking cut the walking route, which with five hundred single-line orders is the largest part of your labour cost.

  • Batch picking: collect the same item for many orders in one round, and split it per order only at the packing table. One walk instead of forty.
  • Single-item orders on their own: an order with one item doesn't need sorting, only packing. You bundle that flow separately from the rest, so it doesn't hold up the packing table.
  • Case and wave picking: larger orders per case, and work released in waves that line up with the moment the carrier is at the door.
  • The scan is the record: what has been picked and packed is fixed the moment it happens. No list that someone keys in afterwards.

Parcels on the conveyor to the packing table. What is ordered today leaves today.

  • Tailored Track: live in three months
  • Fast Track: live in one month
  • Boltrics Reseller for the Baltics
  • Estonia and Lithuania: many webshop orders go to a parcel locker

Backorders and returns

Every backorder and return stays traceable

Backorders stay open until the item is in again, and returns run as their own workflow, because that is where the hours go.

  • Backorders stay in view: an order that can't be completed stays open and comes back by itself as soon as the item is in again.
  • A return is its own workflow: inspecting, putting back into stock, repairing or rejecting are steps you record, and your client sees the outcome per parcel.
  • Serial numbers at the pick: with electronics you record the serial number or IMEI at the moment of picking. When a complaint or a return comes in, you know which order that one device belonged to.

Integrations

Orders flow straight into the system

  • Your client's webshop: orders come in through an integration day and night, and status and shipment details go back the same way. Which integration that will be depends on your client's webshop and on the carriers you work with. Connect with Boltrics DataHub.
  • The delivery point belongs to the order: in Estonia and Lithuania a large share of webshop orders goes to a parcel locker rather than a front door. The chosen locker therefore arrives with the order and has to end up intact on the shipping label. We handle that in the integration, so nobody retypes it at the packing table.
  • A portal instead of a mailbox: your client sees their own stock, open orders and returns. Every question answered there is an email your planner doesn't have to read.
  • Measuring and weighing as master data: you record dimensions and weight per item once, with measuring and weighing equipment connected to the system. After that the system works with measured weights and dimensions instead of estimates.

Invoicing

Per pick, per parcel, per occupied location

A fulfilment invoice has more lines than a storage invoice, and they all come from actions the warehouse already records.

A webshop rarely pays for storage alone. It pays per order, per picked line, per box, per return that was inspected, and for the locations its stock occupies. If that lives in a spreadsheet next to the system, month-end is an afternoon of puzzling and a discussion afterwards.

We set up Boltrics WMS so it comes from the records themselves. Storage is charged on the locations occupied at the end of the day, regardless of how many pallets or cartons sit on them. Actions become lines the moment they happen. The invoice goes out weekly or daily, against the agreement with that one client.

Several clients in one warehouse? You keep stock, rates and invoicing separate per client, in one shared pick area.

Built for 3PL

Every pick and every parcel on that webshop's invoice.

Every service lands on the client's order. Boltrics charges it against that client's agreement, and the invoice run does the rest.

  1. Step 1

Handling and VAL on the order

Repacking, labelling or extra handling: the floor records it on the order as it happens.

  2. Step 2

    Contract per client

Boltrics matches every line to that client's contract: per pallet, per carton, per order or per period.

  3. Step 3

Storage and handling on one invoice

The invoice run puts storage charges, handling and VAL on one invoice per client, traceable to the order.

Boltrics is 100% focused on third-party logistics: not an ERP that started in finance or manufacturing, but every function built with and for logistics service providers.

What clients ask us first

Call +372 5447 0143

Can webshop orders and pallet work share one warehouse?

Yes, but they are two pick strategies in one system: batch and wave picking for the small orders, ordinary order picking for the pallets. On the same stock, with the same stock value.

Which webshops and carriers do you connect to?

Boltrics provides standard connectors for webshops and shipping platforms. Which of them fit your clients and carriers, we map out for you before the start.

How are returns handled?

As a workflow: you set how goods are treated, which steps follow and what gets recorded. What cannot go straight back into stock stays visible instead of disappearing.

How do we invoice per pick and per occupied location?

Handling per pick, per carton or per order, and storage based on the locations occupied at the end of the day. Both come out of the registration itself, per client and per agreement.

We set up your order flow, and stay your first line

In the intake we walk through, per client, how his orders arrive, which integration belongs with them and what happens to a return. That is where fulfilment projects get stuck, so we settle it before go-live.
