A customs warehouse in the same system

With us, customs always sits inside your Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS. We set up customs warehousing, excise warehousing and customs statuses on the same stock as the rest of your operation. So you can show what is under supervision at any moment.

Boltrics
Local Boltrics Reseller for the Baltics

Every customs regime on the same stock

  • Customs warehouse: goods from outside the EU are stored here without import duties or VAT having been paid. You only pay once they leave the warehouse, for free circulation or another customs procedure.
  • Excise warehouse: same principle, but for excise goods such as fuel, alcohol or tobacco. Excise duty only becomes payable once the goods leave the warehouse for consumption. Boltrics WMS runs both warehouses side by side on one stock: post once, both regimes covered.
  • Temporary storage: the short period right after arrival, before the goods have been assigned a customs procedure. That assignment is subject to a 90-day time limit; a customs warehouse has no such limit.

Containers under customs supervision. Your stock shows the customs status of every pallet.

  • Customs always inside your Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS
  • Free circulation: treated the same as goods produced in the EU

T1, T2 and free circulation

T1, T2 or free circulation: a pallet changes status without changing place.

  • Free circulation: once duties are paid and the status changes, goods enter free circulation: from that point they're treated the same as goods produced in the EU.
  • One pallet, changing status: the pallet stays in its location, the administrative status changes, and every change is on record.
  • One system: stock and customs status sit in the same records, so they never drift apart.

What you show at every inspection, instantly

With us, customs always runs inside Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS: the same inventory record, with customs status as an extra attribute.

  • Show it at any moment: which goods hold which status, since when, and what's happened to them since: moved, processed, partially shipped out.
  • Status on the stock line: a fixed attribute of the stock line, so nobody keeps a separate list.
  • Every status change on record: never overwritten, traceable to the exact moment and action that caused it, and ready to pull up at an inspection.
  • Bonded locations apart: distinguishable from free-circulation locations.
  • Balance per status: your stock balance totals per status, so you see at once what is under supervision.

What clients ask us first

Call +372 5447 0143

Do we have to keep a separate customs administration?

No. We always set up customs inside Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS: customs status is an attribute of the stock itself, in the same records as location and batch. Your customs records never fall behind, not even on your busiest day.

Can customs warehousing sit alongside excise goods?

Yes. Boltrics WMS runs customs warehousing and excise warehousing side by side on one stock. Each regime keeps its own requirements and its own licence, and you post every pallet once.

What does an inspector actually want to see?

A demonstrable trail: which batch was where, under which status, when that status changed and who changed it. You record that trail at every action, so you can show it the moment an inspector asks.

Do you file the declarations yourselves?

No. Filing declarations and generating documents sit in Boltrics; we set that up around your goods flow and your licences. Which gateway that runs through per country, we map out for you in the intake.

We set up customs around your licences

We set up customs warehousing, excise and customs statuses inside your Boltrics WMS, TMS or FMS. In the intake we walk through your licences and your goods flow: which regime rests on which stock, which statuses you need, and which trail an inspector will want to see.
